The
Division of Licensing Services/Office of
Special Licensing oversees the
licensing and regulation of Speech and Hearing professionals. The division is
guided through the Speech and Hearing Advisory Committee established by
Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 17, Article 1. §
36-1902(A)(1) and (C).
Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination:
The next Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination will be held at
the end of February, 2009. Applications
for the exam will be accepted from December 1, 2008
through January 30, 2009 only. Applications sent before December
1, 2008 or after January 30, 2009 will be sent back to the applicant and the
applicant will not be registered
to take the examination. Call our office with any questions.
The Advisory Committee is
composed of the OSL Program Manager, 2 physicians, 2 audiologists, 2 hearing
aid dispensers, 2 members of the public and 1 member from the Commission for
the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
