Welcome to the ASA-Greater Phoenix Chapter
The Autism Society of America - Greater Phoenix Chapter
(ASA-GPC) is a group of people (mostly parents) who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by autism by providing information, resources and support to the community, and especially to families affected by autism.
Membership is open to parents, professionals, people on the spectrum, and their friends and supporters. It is a democratically-elected, grass-roots non-profit.
ASA-GPC helps families who have just received an autism, Asperger, or PDD-NOS diagnosis by providing support and information on effective treatments.
ASA-GPC provides free information to parents, professionals, and educators.

Presenting: Interpreting Misunderstood Behaviors from
a Sensory Perspective
The ASA-GPC will be providing light refreshments during the meetings. Parents may order their own dinners from the restaurant if they so choose, but there is no requirement to do so. The general public is always invited to attend and there is no admission charge.

NEWS...The Autism Insurance Legislation has Passed and Governor Napolitano has signed it!
The Arizona Legislature passed legislation to require insurance companies to cover autism treatment and the Governor signed it March 21, 2008!
